  8. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any applicable statutory rights of the Client.

3. Training Services and Outcomes

  1. Train Treat Repeat Dog Training will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill and will tailor training advice to the information provided by the Client and the individual dog.

  2. Training programmes and recommendations will be based on the information available to Train Treat Repeat Dog Training at the time of the consultation or training session.

  3. Dog training is an ongoing process and outcomes may vary between individual dogs and owners.

  4. The effectiveness of training may be affected by factors including the dog's age, health, learning history, temperament, environment, previous experiences and the consistency with which the recommended training is implemented.

  5. Train Treat Repeat Dog Training will provide guidance and practical exercises intended to support the agreed training goals but cannot guarantee a particular behavioural outcome or a particular timescale for achieving that outcome.

  6. As living animals, dogs may naturally experience changes in behaviour over time due to factors including age, development and changes in their environment. Any guarantee provided under these Terms and Conditions is subject to these inherent factors and cannot override them.

  7. Training programmes are designed for the individual dog for whom they were prepared and should not be applied to another dog without appropriate professional assessment.

  8. Train Treat Repeat Dog Training does not provide veterinary, medical or specialist behavioural diagnosis or treatment. Where appropriate, the Client may be advised to seek assistance from a veterinary surgeon or an appropriately qualified behaviour professional.

4. Client Responsibilities

  1. The Client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their dog that may be relevant to the Services.

  2. This may include information about the dog's age, health, medication, injuries, previous training, behaviour, history, environment and any circumstances that may affect the safety or suitability of training.

  3. The Client must inform Train Treat Repeat Dog Training of any material change in their dog's health, behaviour or circumstances that may affect training.

  2. The Client should seek veterinary advice where they have concerns about whether their dog is physically or medically fit to participate in training.

  3. Train Treat Repeat Dog Training may modify, postpone or end a session where, in the trainer's reasonable judgement, continuing would present an unreasonable risk to the dog, the Client, the trainer or another person or animal.

  4. Train Treat Repeat Dog Training may refuse or discontinue a session where the circumstances make it unsafe or inappropriate to continue.

  5. Where a dog's needs appear to fall outside the scope of the Services offered, Train Treat Repeat Dog Training may recommend that the Client seek assistance from a veterinary surgeon or an appropriately qualified behaviour professional.

6. Fees and Payment

  4. For training programmes consisting of multiple Sessions, a Session affected by a late cancellation will ordinarily be treated as having been used and cannot be transferred to another date.

  5. Where a Client fails to attend a scheduled Session without providing notice, the Session will be treated as a late cancellation and the Session fee will be forfeited.

  6. All cancellation and rescheduling provisions are subject to any statutory rights the Client may have under applicable consumer law.

8. Consumer Cancellation Rights

  1. Where the Client is a consumer and the Agreement is entered into as a distance contract or off-premises contract, the Client may have a statutory right to cancel the Agreement within the applicable cancellation period.

  2. Where such a statutory cancellation right applies, the Client will be provided with the information required by applicable consumer legislation.

  3. Where the Client requests that Services begin before the end of any applicable statutory cancellation period, the Client acknowledges that specific legal rules may apply to the cancellation right and to payment for Services already supplied.

  4. Where a Service has been fully performed following the Client's express request for the Service to begin during the cancellation period, the statutory right to cancel may cease where the applicable legal requirements have been met.

  5. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
